Responsibilities
- Perform basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures as requested by a licensed physician
- Provide technical support for radiographic examinations, including patient assessment, operation of imaging equipment, room preparation, and equipment maintenance
- Produce high-quality diagnostic radiographs and rotate through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology
- Monitor patient condition and safety during imaging procedures, ensuring proper shielding, infection control, and workflow efficiency
- Document procedures and coordinate with radiologists and physicians as needed to ensure accurate interpretation
Requirements
- Active Radiologic Technologist license/registration for the applicable state (Tennessee) or eligibility
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Relevant experience in diagnostic radiology; ability to rotate through advanced areas
- Ability to work in a hospital setting; comfortable with a 5x8 schedule
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to support a fast-paced, clinical environment
