As an X-Ray Tech in radiology, your responsibilities include performing radiographic exams with accuracy and speed, selecting appropriate views, positioning patients of all ages and abilities, and adjusting exposure factors to optimize image quality while upholding ALARA principles. You will operate state-of-the-art imaging equipment, maintain sterile technique and patient safety, administer contrast as ordered, and communicate clearly with radiologists, physicians, and technologists. You’ll support workflow by preparing exam rooms, reviewing orders, and ensuring complete, compliant documentation in electronic health records. The role also offers ongoing professional growth through exposure to various imaging protocols, opportunities to learn higher-level modalities, and mentorship within a culture of continuous improvement.
