Responsibilities
- Operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images
- Perform radiographic procedures across OR, ED, inpatient units, and portable imaging
- Evaluate image quality and repeat only as clinically appropriate
- Assist with pediatric and neonatal imaging when needed; float to departments as required
- Work with EMR systems (EPIC and Sectra) and multiple imaging platforms (GE, Philips, Carestream)
- Support student competency check-offs and maintain compliance with safety protocols, including mask fit
Requirements
- Education: Graduation from a JRCERT/ARRT-approved radiology program
- Certifications: ARRT certification and BLS required
- Experience: Minimum 1 year Level 1 trauma experience or 2–3 years at a large trauma Level 2 facility
- Licenses: Active certification and ability to practice in the listed setting
- Skills: Proficient in operating radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment; comfortable with OR, ED, inpatient imaging, and portable studies
- Environment: Able to work in a fast-paced hospital setting and to float as needed; able to work with pediatric and neonate patients
