Registered Nurse – Emergency Room, Morrisville, VT, United States. Start May 18, 2026. 13-week travel assignment with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. Weekly pay range: $1,970–$1,988 per week. Shift: Days / Varied. Setting: emergency department.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to ER patients using the Nursing Process, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for age-specific populations.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications and treatments, document findings, and communicate changes to the care team.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary staff to develop and implement individualized care plans; adjust care as conditions evolve.
- Demonstrate leadership by delegating tasks appropriately while maintaining safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal laws, regulations, and department standards; uphold infection control and patient safety practices.
- Maintain active ACLS, BLS, and PALS (or ENPC) certifications prior to contract start; if not active, coordinate a booked course at orientation.
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted RN license to practice in Vermont.
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS (or ENPC) certifications active prior to contract start; if not, a course will be booked at orientation.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced ER environment and adapt to changing patient needs.
- Eligible for a travel assignment and able to meet credentialing requirements for the assignment.
- Age-appropriate, patient-centered care skills aligned with ER standards.
