Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetrical nursing care for antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, manage labor progression, administer medications, and respond to obstetric emergencies.
- Deliver newborn care, including initial assessment, stabilization when needed, and parental education and support.
- Develop and implement patient-centered care plans using the nursing process; document accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, anesthesia, neonatal staff, and other members of the care team; participate in rounds and handoffs.
- Participate in rotating on-call responsibilities as required by unit policy; ensure readiness and safety for on-call duties.

Requirements
- Active Montana RN license (or eligibility to obtain MT licensure)
- Certifications: ACLS, NRP, and BLS required
- Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing program (RN)
- Experience: Labor & Delivery/North-central obstetric care experience preferred; ability to provide newborn care
- Ability to work in a hospital obstetric setting with rotating day/night shifts
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to a remote area; Montana residents will be considered for out-of-state assignments only if located more than 250 miles away from the facility
