CT Tech – Radiology travel assignment in Helena, Montana, United States. Start date 06/07/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay $2,673–$2,816 with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures following established protocols and orders, prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
- Prepare and position patients, verify orders, screen for contraindications to contrast material, and educate patients as needed.
- Administer contrast agents using Bracco injectors when required; monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond per policy.
- Operate the Siemens CT scanner, adjust technical factors, acquire diagnostic-quality images, and apply dose-optimization principles.
- Review images with radiologists, ensure accurate labeling and documentation, and coordinate with RIS/PACS workflows (including vRad as applicable).
- Maintain infection control and radiation safety standards; document exams thoroughly; communicate findings and any concerns to the care team.
- No on-call requirement; holiday shifts may be required if scheduled on a holiday.
Requirements
- 2+ years of CT technologist experience
- ARRT certification and BLS certification required
- Montana (MT) license required or eligible to apply within 24–48 hours with proof of application
- Prior travel experience preferred
- Ability to work night shifts and thrive in an acute-care imaging environment
- Equipment familiarity: Siemens CT scanner; contrast administration with injectors
