Registered Nurse - LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care) – Albuquerque, New Mexico. This travel assignment places an RN in a long-term acute care/skilled nursing setting. Start date: 04/24/2026 for a 4-week assignment. Weekly pay range: $867-$885 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0. Shift: 12-hour nights (3x12), 18:00–06:30. Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility with LTAC responsibilities.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to LTAC residents, including initial assessments, ongoing monitoring, and implementation of care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments per orders; monitor for adverse effects and interactions.
- Perform vital signs monitoring, IV therapy, wound care, and other advanced nursing tasks within scope.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and family members; communicate changes and update care plans and documentation.
- Ensure safe and compliant care with infection control practices, patient safety measures, and accurate charting; assist with discharge planning as appropriate for LTAC residents.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license (New Mexico) or eligibility to practice in the state
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (evening to early morning)
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills
- Comfort working in a fast-paced LTAC/skilled nursing environment with complex patient needs
- Ability to pass standard pre-employment checks and health screenings as part of the assignment process
- U.S. work authorization
