Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) travel position in Hermiston, Oregon. Start date: 04/27/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 432. Weekly pay: $2,156–$2,224 per week. Shift: 6x12-hour days. Setting: a Critical Access Hospital. This assignment is a travel - temporary position.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to adult patients before and after surgical procedures
- Assess patient conditions, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and respond quickly to changes in condition or treatment response
- Initiate the computerized Plan of Care on admission and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Perform general nursing duties in all departments as assigned and work with appropriate supervision
- Float to other departments as needed if qualified to perform patient care
- Maintain patient confidentiality, convey empathy, and communicate effectively with patients and families
Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Licenses/Certifications: Current RN license in the State of Oregon; BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
- Experience: Previous Medical-Surgical nursing preferred
- Certifications/Extras: CMSRN preferred; CRASE training required if travel assignment extends beyond 6 months
- Additional: Evidence of continuing education appropriate for skill level and area of practice; ability to work in a Med-Surgical setting on a travel assignment
