Travel Registered Nurse OR Job
Registered Nurse - Operating Room (Travel) available in Kansas City, KS. This 13-week travel assignment begins on 07/12/2026 in a hospital operating room setting. Weekly pay ranges from $2,245 to $2,379, with a 5x8 Days shift. The position requires KS RN licensure and OR experience, including trauma cases, with broad OR coverage.

Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care as scrub and circulating nurse for a range of OR cases
- Maintain sterile technique, assist anesthesia, monitor patient status, and document intraoperative events
- Support DaVinci robot cases and large head and neck procedures; assist with neuro-spine and intra-abdominal surgeries (ex-lap)
- Ensure patient safety, proper positioning, specimen handling, and turnover between cases
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes
- Float to all ORs as needed and adapt to varying case mix and patient needs
Requirements
- Active Kansas RN license; BLS (AHA)
- 2+ years OR experience with trauma cases required
- Strong scrub experience; familiarity with DaVinci robotic cases, large head and neck cases, neuro-spine, and ex-lap cases
- Ability to float to all ORs and work in a hospital OR environment
- Credentialing to be completed 1 week prior to start
- Weekend/Holiday coverage per set schedule; on-call up to 6 shifts per 13-week contract
