Responsibilities
- Perform MRI imaging exams in accordance with department procedures and safety guidelines.
- Set up MRI equipment and position patients to obtain diagnostic-quality studies.
- Exercise independent judgment to select appropriate imaging sequences and optimize image quality.
- Provide safe, age-appropriate patient care and monitor patient status during procedures.
- Verify patient data, ensure proper study labeling, and document imaging results for radiologist review.
- Maintain equipment readiness, cleanliness, and adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the radiology team to ensure timely imaging services and effective communication.
Requirements
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, three days per week, with flexibility to meet department needs.
- Dependable, accountable, and cooperative approach to assignment.
- Demonstrated ability to independently perform MRI examinations and obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Strong attention to detail in patient positioning, equipment setup, and image quality.
- Effective communication and teamwork within a radiology/imaging department.
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
