Travel Registered Nurse PCU Job
Registered Nurse, PCU travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. Start date 06/15/2026 for 13 weeks. Night shift on a 2x3 schedule with 36 guaranteed hours per week. This hospital setting requires float coverage across PCU/IMCU floors with a cardiac population to support a busy acute care service.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to adults in PCU/IMCU with cardiac conditions, with float coverage to related units as needed
- Monitor hemodynamics, interpret telemetry, and respond to acute cardiac events including STEMI and NSTEMI presentations
- Administer and titrate cardiac medications and drips (e.g., Milrinone, Dobutamine, vasopressors) per physician orders
- Collaborate with cardiology and multidisciplinary teams to implement care plans and ensure safe patient transitions
- Document care in EPIC EMR accurately and promptly; participate in shift handoffs and patient rounds
- Maintain patient safety, adhere to unit protocols, and perform basic bedside procedures within scope of practice
Requirements
- Active registered nurse license in good standing
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a similar-sized or high-acuity facility, with cardiac unit or PCU/IMCU experience preferred
- Experience with EPIC EMR or comparable electronic health record system
- Ability to float across PCU/IMCU floors and deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced environment
