Responsibilities
- Perform noninvasive vascular and cardiac testing using ultrasound, including echocardiography and vascular ultrasound, for outpatients, inpatients, and ED patients
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain ultrasound equipment; ensure high-quality images and accurate measurements
- Prepare patients, explain procedures, obtain consent when appropriate, and monitor safety during testing
- Document results clearly in patient records and communicate findings to physicians and the care team
- Collaborate with referring staff to ensure testing quality and appropriate patient throughput
- Maintain compliance with ARDMS/CCI certification requirements and professional standards
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience performing vascular and cardiac testing
- Active ARDMS RDCS and RVT or CCI RCS and RVS credentials (registration)
- 1+ year travel experience preferred
- Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the assignment location
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and manage testing across outpatient, inpatient, and ED environments
