Registered Nurse – PCU travel assignment in Clarkston, WA. Start date 04/20/2026 for 13 weeks. Nights shift. Weekly pay range $1,896-$1,978. Guaranteed hours 36 per week. Setting: LTC – Nursing Home. WA RN license must be active.

Responsibilities
- Provide RN care in PCU/MedSurg/Telemetry with the ability to float to other units as needed, assessing and reassessing patient status and adjusting care plans accordingly.
- Identify patient and family education needs and deliver education using appropriate modalities; document education provided and patient response.
- Uphold patient safety through preventative measures (side rails, safe equipment use) and strict adherence to isolation and infection control procedures; maintain complete documentation.
- Administer medications and ensure timely processing of physician orders; perform a 24-hour order review when within duties and complete accurate charge entry.
- Deliver thorough handoffs at shift change and communicate critical lab values to the physician promptly per policy; coordinate with the multidisciplinary team for continuity of care.
- Maintain and restock emergency carts, room supplies, and general inventory; troubleshoot equipment issues and access manuals as needed.
Requirements
- Active Washington RN license is required.
- Experience in MedSurg/PCU with the ability to float to other departments as needed.
- Ability to work nights and adapt to a long-term care nursing home setting.
- Strong documentation, communication, and clinical judgment skills; proficiency with standard precautions and patient safety protocols.
