Registered Nurse – Stepdown in Helena, Montana. This travel, temporary assignment begins 11/15/2026 for 13 weeks. Earn $2,004 to $2,127 per week with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in the stepdown environment, including ongoing assessment, monitoring of vitals, and timely response to changes in condition.
- Administer medications, manage IVs, and assist with procedures per physician orders and care plans.
- Monitor hemodynamics and respiratory status; provide appropriate interventions and escalate as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR; ensure charting reflects current patient status and care provided.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team during rounds and care planning; participate in discharge planning and family communication.
- Float between medical/surgical units and stepdown/ICU as required; uphold patient safety, infection control, and quality standards.
Requirements
- Active RN license (state required)
- Minimum 2 years of stepdown experience; prior travel experience preferred
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Epic EMR experience or ability to learn quickly
- Ability to float to multiple units as needed; strong communication and critical-thinking skills
