Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group in the ED according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications and treatments per orders, and document care accurately.
- Triage and perform focused assessments to identify changes in patient status; respond promptly to deteriorations.
- Collaborate with physicians, ancillary staff, and other disciplines to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; exercise professional and supervisory judgment as needed.
Requirements
- Active RN license to practice in California
- ER/n ED nursing experience preferred (1 year or more)
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ASN or BSN)
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and adapt to travel assignment schedules
- Eligible to work in the United States and able to start on 09/21/2026
