Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
- Utilize critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment in patient care decisions.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the medical record; maintain compliance with standards of care and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team; provide patient and family education as needed.
- Monitor patient conditions, respond to changes, and initiate appropriate interventions while escalating as necessary.
Requirements
- Active California RN license
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (3x12) and participate in travel assignments
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
