Registered Nurse – ER (Travel) in Fort Bragg, California. Start date: 05/04/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,906–$1,937 per week. Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts. Setting: Home Healthcare - Hospice. This is a travel, temporary assignment.

Responsibilities
- Provide triage, treatment and support for trauma and emergency patients of all ages in an acute care setting.
- Administer medications and treatments per orders; monitor patient responses and adjust care as needed.
- Perform ongoing patient assessments, recognize changes in condition, and escalate to the physician promptly.
- Document care accurately in the electronic health record; ensure safety, privacy and infection control standards are met.
- Collaborate with physicians, other nurses and members of the health care team to develop and implement patient care plans; participate in discharge planning and family education.
- When designated as a trauma site, hours and expenses related to triage and treatment of trauma patients are included.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ER/acute care environment during night shifts
- Strong assessment, critical thinking and communication skills
- Team-oriented approach with a focus on patient and family education
- Compliance with department policies, safety protocols, and documentation standards
- Willingness to travel and adapt to the home healthcare - hospice setting as assigned
