Travel Registered Nurse Endoscopy Job
Registered Nurse – Endoscopy in Rome, New York. This travel, temporary assignment starts 04/27/2026 for a 13-week contract in a hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $2,247 to $2,350, with 40 guaranteed hours per week. Shift schedule is 4x10 Days.

- On-call: 6 call shifts per month and 1–2 weekend shifts per month
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care in the endoscopy suite, including pre-procedure assessments and post-procedure recovery
- Monitor patient status during endoscopic procedures; assist with sedation, hemodynamics, and physician support
- Maintain sterile technique, prepare and organize equipment, and document procedures and patient responses
- Administer medications per protocol; respond promptly to adverse events; participate in on-call and weekend coverage as scheduled
- Ensure NIH Stroke Certification requirements are completed before start; support facility orientation with required CEUs
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety, accurate charting, and compliance with policies
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in New York (NY RN)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience; Endoscopy experience required
- Endoscopy-specific experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIH Stroke Certification required before start
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and participate in a 4x10 day schedule with on-call and weekend shifts
