Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse, ER, Gloucester, MA, start 08/10/2026, 8 weeks, $2,370–$2,519 per week, guaranteed hours 72 biweekly, shift 12-hour nights in a hospital setting. Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to ER patients, including triage, initial assessment, and ongoing monitoring
- Administer medications, analgesia, and recommended treatments per physician orders
- Monitor telemetry and manage deteriorating conditions; respond to codes and rapid response as required
- Collaborate with physicians, unit staff, and ancillary teams to maintain patient safety and throughput
- Document care in the electronic health record and ensure accurate handoffs and discharge planning
- Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and patient/family education
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license required at time of submission
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC; PALS or ENPC (equivalency) as applicable
- Experience: 2+ years telemetry experience; 1 year of prior travel experience required; tele/telemetry experience required
- Certification testing: Telemetry skills test administered on day 1; pass/fail; study materials provided
- Flu vaccine required at onboarding (declinations not accepted)
- Biweekly orientation provided
- Must have been separated from any permanent, per diem, or contract roles for a minimum of 6 months
- Willingness to float to Beverly, MA if necessary
