Travel Respiratory Therapist Job
Respiratory Therapist (Travel) – Hermiston, Oregon, United States. Start date 05/18/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment with a guaranteed 30 hours per week. Weekly pay range: $1,573 to $1,708. Shift: Night, 6x5, 1800–0630. Setting: rural Critical Access Hospital. This position is with Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Cares for and treats patients with respiratory and cardiac illness
- Manage care for COPD, asthma, and interstitial lung disease; perform clinical assessments of physical and mental status
- Monitor patients on ventilatory support and observe for cardiopulmonary symptoms
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team; demonstrate problem solving and teamwork
- Maintain current knowledge of regulatory standards and patient safety goals; participate in program education as applicable
- Float as needed to other departments for qualified patient care before core staff are floated; perform related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Licenses/Certifications: Current Oregon RT License; Current RRT; PALS, NRP, BLS, and ACLS required
- Experience: None required
- Additional: If the travel assignment extends beyond 6 months, CRASE training will be required
- Physical/Working: Ability to work in an indoor healthcare setting; capable of lifting up to 50 pounds; strong communication and teamwork skills; comfortable with PPE and a fast-paced environment
