Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist) travel assignment in Hermiston, Oregon. Start date May 18, 2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay $1,574 to $1,655 per week. Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care and treatment for patients with COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease, and other respiratory or cardiopulmonary conditions
- Monitor patients on ventilatory support; assess and respond to cardiopulmonary changes; document findings and interventions
- Evaluate patient physical and mental status; participate in patient education, including group classes when appropriate
- Collaborate with the care team to anticipate patient and staff needs; maintain infection control and patient safety standards
- Demonstrate clinical skills across patient care activities and assist with regulatory standards and program education as applicable
- Float to other departments within scope as needed after core competencies are demonstrated
Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program
- Licenses/Certifications: Current Oregon RT License; Current RRT
- Certifications: PALS, NRP, BLS, ACLS required
- Experience: None required
- Additional: CRASE training preferred; if the assignment extends beyond six months, CRASE training will be required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting; able to adapt to night shift and floating as needed
