Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments in an outpatient OB clinic and develop individualized plans of care.
- Implement and evaluate nursing interventions; administer medications and treatments per provider orders.
- Coordinate care across the care team, including referrals, follow-up, and continuity of services.
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record; ensure documentation supports quality and safety standards.
- Provide patient and family education on care plans, medications, and discharge needs; promote culturally responsive, patient-centered care.
- Recognize significant changes in patient condition and escalate to the appropriate licensed provider; participate in quality and performance improvement activities.
- Maintain infection control standards, professional practice, and adherence to Alaska BON-aligned nursing judgment; float to other departments as needed.

Requirements
- Current, active Registered Nursing license in Alaska at time of submittal (agency staff must hold an active Alaska license).
- Case management experience required; ambulatory/outpatient clinic experience preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Ability to work in an ambulatory clinic setting and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
- Active or eligible to work in the United States; commitment to professional practice within scope of nursing standards.
