Travel Radiology Tech MRI Tech Job
MRI Technologist – MRI in a hospital setting located in Boston, MA. Travel assignment starting August 31, 2026 for 13 weeks with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Day shift (approximately 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m., Monday–Friday; weekends and holidays as needed). Weekly pay range: $3,016-$3,172 per week (local rate within 50 miles is $3,006-$3,162 per week). Inpatient/acute hospital experience and Siemens MRI system expertise are required.

Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans using Siemens MRI systems, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety.
- Prepare patients: screen for contraindications, explain procedures, obtain consent as required, and support patient comfort and anxiety reduction.
- Position patients and coils accurately; adjust imaging parameters to optimize diagnostic quality; document procedures clearly.
- Collaborate with radiology team and physicians; maintain accurate patient records and image labeling; ensure timely delivery of imaging studies.
- Maintain MRI safety protocols, including screening for contraindications and monitoring for adverse reactions; ensure proper equipment cleanliness and tuning.
- Provide coverage in a busy inpatient/acute hospital environment; adapt to changing schedules, including weekends/holidays as needed; assist with cross-modality workflow as approved.
Requirements
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or ARMIT certification required
- BLS certification required
- 2+ years of recent MRI technologist experience, with Siemens experience in a busy hospital setting
- Inpatient/acute hospital experience required
- 4+ years of Siemens equipment experience preferred
- Ability to work day shift and participate in weekends/holidays as needed
- Not required: Massachusetts license
