Certified Surgical Technologist (Surgical Tech) – Helena, Montana, United States. Travel assignment starting July 5, 2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,734 to $1,829. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Responsibilities
- Prepare the sterile field and assist the surgical team during procedures
- Maintain sterile technique, count instruments, and ensure equipment readiness
- Support the surgical team across diverse cases, including ortho, gynecology, robotic, urology, general, ENT, and spine procedures
- Contribute to heavy total joint and orthopedic case workloads while maintaining patient safety
- Assist with translating intraoperative needs and instrument handling for efficient case flow
- Document perioperative activity in the electronic medical record (Epic) and communicate clearly with team members
Requirements
- 2 years of surgical technology experience in the operating room
- Prior travel experience required
- Ortho experience, including total joint cases; experience with robotic, gynecology, urology, general, ENT, and spine cases preferred
- CST certification preferred; BLS required
- Ability to work 4x10-hour shifts in a hospital setting
- Strong teamwork ethic, reliability, and ability to stay task-focused
