Responsibilities
- Perform computed tomography imaging studies following established protocols and physician orders
- Position patients, select appropriate scan parameters, and monitor during imaging to ensure quality and safety
- Verify patient identity and orders; document procedures in the Cerner system
- Maintain radiation safety practices, use shielding, and adhere to infection control standards
- Provide basic patient education, assist with IV access and venipuncture as needed, and manage contrast administration per protocol
- Collaborate with radiology team and other clinicians to ensure accurate, timely imaging results
Requirements
- Current ARRT registration with RT (R) and/or CT (CT) credentials (R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT) required)
- BLS certification required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Venipuncture certification: preferred
- Advanced CT certification: preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care setting and to fulfill the listed shift requirements
- Travel-ready status for a Portland, Oregon assignment
