Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adults as part of an interdisciplinary team, ensuring individualized, safe, and high-quality nursing care.
- Assess patients, implement and monitor care plans, administer medications and treatments per physician orders, and respond to changes in patient conditions.
- Document care accurately in the medical record and maintain compliance with applicable policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with licensed and unlicensed care providers to coordinate care, discharge planning, and patient/family education.
- Uphold professional practice standards in line with the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics; support service-excellence goals within the unit.
- Contribute to a safe and therapeutic environment, including infection control, safety protocols, and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia (in good standing)
- Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts in a travel assignment
- Willingness to operate in a fast-paced, patient-centered healthcare setting
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team and uphold patient advocacy
- Compliance with organization’s standards and applicable professional regulations
