Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech — Ultrasound specialty in Watertown, New York, United States. Travel assignment in a hospital setting. Start date 07/06/2026 for 13 weeks. Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound examinations, with emphasis on vascular and obstetric studies
- Prepare patients, position them properly, and apply imaging gel to obtain quality images
- Operate and optimize ultrasound equipment; document findings and maintain image quality
- Interpret and communicate imaging results to interpreting physicians and care teams
- Adhere to patient safety, privacy, infection control, and standard department protocols
- Maintain accurate records; participate in on-call coverage as required; assist with equipment maintenance and quality assurance
Requirements
- ARDMS registration is required
- BLS certification
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology or Medical Sonography
- At least one year of radiologic/imaging experience
- Specific experience and training in Medical Sonography, including vascular and obstetric studies
- Knowledge of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to work nights and participate in travel assignments as needed
