Responsibilities
- Provide on-site nursing leadership for the assigned unit during the shift, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety
- Oversee staffing levels, patient assignments, and coverage to maintain efficient operations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement comprehensive care plans and address clinical needs
- Monitor patient safety, quality metrics, and regulatory compliance; respond to emergencies and code events as needed
- mentor and support nursing staff, address performance issues, and resolve conflicts to sustain a positive team environment
Requirements
- Active WA nursing license or a multi-state license with verifications: 6-hour suicide training approval and demographics verification from Nursys
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 4 years of recent clinical nursing experience; 1 year of nursing leadership experience preferred
- Knowledge of Meditech is helpful but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting; strong communication and teamwork skills
- RTO requests must be approved and added to the end of the contract
- Shift availability to cover 06:45–19:15 schedule
