Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician, following current clinical guidelines.
- Monitor resident status, document changes, and report to the supervising nurse and care team.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Perform routine nursing procedures within scope of practice and uphold patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with licensed staff to implement care plans and respond to changes in condition.
- Maintain accurate charting, medication records, and incident reports according to facility policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Active North Carolina Licensed Practical Nurse license or a compact license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- 1+ year of geriatric LPN experience
- PCC experience preferred
- Local candidates only
- Ability to work in a long-term care setting and follow established care plans
