Travel Registered Nurse L&D Job
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D) for a travel assignment in Sweetwater, TX. Start date: May 11, 2026. This 13-week assignment offers days shifts with a guaranteed 36 hours per week and a weekly pay range of $1,984–$2,086. The position supports antepartum, labor, postpartum, and newborn nursery care in a rural West Texas hospital setting. Responsibilities
- Provide direct obstetric and newborn care for antepartum, labor, postpartum, and nursery patients
- Monitor fetal status using external/internal fetal monitoring; respond to nonreassuring patterns per protocol
- Assist with labor and delivery procedures; support the OB team; OB circulator experience preferred
- Administer medications, manage pain relief, and monitor maternal and neonatal status
- Collaborate with nursing, anesthesia, neonatal, and other teams to ensure patient safety, comfort, and appropriate documentation
Requirements
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP
- Experience: Experienced L&D nurse; OB circulator experience preferred
- Skills: Proficient in intermediate fetal monitoring
- Ability to care for antepartum, labor, postpartum, and nursery patients in a hospital setting
- Willingness to work a day shift in a travel assignment
