The role operates under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, delivering services within an interdisciplinary care framework.

Responsibilities
- Administer the physical therapy treatment plan as developed by the Physical Therapist.
- Perform non-complex active and passive manual therapy, therapeutic massage, traction, heat, light, cold, and electrical modalities as appropriate.
- Document patients’ status daily, weekly, or monthly and submit clinical paperwork on time each week.
- Attend educational meetings and contribute to department in-services; keep supervisor informed of equipment, supply, staff, or patient changes.
- Schedule patients and assist with related office tasks; ensure infection control practices and universal precautions are followed.
- Accept clinical assignments aligned with education and competence; support compliance with third-party payors when applicable.
Requirements
- Current state license to practice Physical Therapy - Required
- Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program - Required
- 2 years experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant - Required
- Proof of current CPR certification - Required
- Current driver’s license, with reliable transportation and insurance - Required
- Fluent English (read/write/speak) - Required
