Travel Registered Nurse LTAC Job
Registered Nurse - LTAC in Cordova, Alaska. Travel assignment starting 03/27/2026 for 13 weeks in a long-term acute care hospital setting. Weekly pay range: $2,554 to $2,580 per week with guaranteed 36 hours. Shift: 3x12-hour nights (6:00 PM–6:00 AM). This role supports adult inpatient care in a LTAC/acute care environment.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct, evidence-based nursing care to adult patients in a LTAC/acute care setting
- Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, document changes, and promptly report findings
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and perform procedures per physician orders; monitor for adverse effects
- Collaborate with ED, Med-Surg, and long-term care teams to develop and adjust care plans; coordinate tests and treatments
- Respond to emergencies using BLS/ACLS; manage airway/ventilation and hemodynamic changes as needed; maintain thorough documentation
- Ensure infection control, patient safety, and patient/family education; participate in discharge planning as appropriate
Requirements
- Active Alaska RN license
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
- RN with ED experience required; Med-Surg/Acute experience also required; ability to cover LTC if needed
- Ability to work in a LTAC/hospital setting and to operate in a fast-paced environment; comfortable with night shifts
- Eligible for a travel assignment with a 13-week duration and a start date of 03/27/2026
