Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess patient needs, plan and implement individualized nursing care, and evaluate outcomes.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, ensuring safe and effective care.
- Coordinate care with other disciplines to ensure continuity and integration of services.
- Apply critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment in clinical decision-making.
- Document care provided and patient status accurately in medical records.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license (California) or equivalent licensure appropriate for practice.
- Specialty in Operating Room (OR) nursing; demonstrated experience or competency in perioperative care.
- Ability to work in a home healthcare – hospice setting, with the capacity to coordinate across disciplines.
- Availability for a 13-week travel assignment starting 04/27/2026.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and collaborative skills.
- Commitment to delivering patient-centered care and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
