Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting according to individualized care plans.
- Administer prescribed medications and document administration accurately and timely.
- Monitor vital signs, assess changes in patient condition, identify safety concerns, and report to the supervising Registered Nurse.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, fall prevention, and mobility, while maintaining dignity and comfort.
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation, including care plans, assessments, and progress notes.
- Ensure adherence to infection control practices, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements; participate in care conferences and care coordination.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in New Mexico.
- Ability to work the 3x12-hour night schedule and adapt to a long-term care environment.
- Availability to begin on 05/21/2026 and commit to a 12-week travel assignment.
- Willingness to travel and work in a travel assignment setting as needed.
- Demonstrated reliability and ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
