Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care to a patient group using the nursing process and evidence-based standards.
- Monitor telemetry data, interpret findings, and respond to arrhythmias or changes in patient status with clinical judgment.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, monitor for adverse effects, and document responses.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other disciplines.
- Communicate clearly with patients and families, provide education, and promote safe, patient-centered care.
- Maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with policies, and uphold professional standards and patient privacy.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California (CA RN)
- 1 year of telemetry/acute-care nursing experience
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS preferred
- Education: ADN or BSN (or higher)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
- Willingness to participate in a temporary travel assignment and to work in the listed setting
