Responsibilities
- Perform OB/GYN and MFM ultrasound scans, including fetal anatomy assessments, first-trimester dating, follow-up OB scans, BPP, MCA Dopplers, and related OB/GYN imaging procedures
- Execute gynecologic imaging as appropriate (pelvic scans, sonohysterography, HyCoSy) and document findings with attention to detail
- Maintain high-quality image acquisition and proper patient care, ensuring safety, comfort, and clear communication with patients and the OB/radiology team
- Accurately document results in the EPIC EMR, relay critical findings promptly to the radiologist and ordering provider, and manage image storage and retrieval
- Manage a daily patient volume of up to eight scans, with an emphasis on efficiency; twins count as two scans within a half-day
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, escalate abnormal or urgent findings, and uphold infection control and safety standards
Requirements
- Active ARDMS credential with OB/GYN specialization
- Vermont license required at time of submission
- BLS certification; Ultrasound Tech Certification Verification (Equivalency)
- Minimum 2 years of OB/GYN ultrasound experience, including fetal anatomy scans (routine and detailed), follow-up OB, BPP, MCA Dopplers, 1st trimester, pelvic imaging, sonohysterography, and HyCoSy
- EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years
- Prior travel experience required; flexible to work days including weekends; no block scheduling
- Reliable transportation; station-specific onboarding and orientation as scheduled (bi-weekly on Mondays)
