Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in an ICU/critical care environment using the nursing process and established standards of care.
- Assess patient status, implement care plans, administer medications, monitor responses, and document changes.
- Coordinate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to modify care plans as needed.
- Supervise and direct activities of newly assigned nursing staff and assist in prioritizing care for a patient or patient group.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members; exercise clinical judgment and professional discretion in high-stakes situations.
- Ensure patient safety and adherence to regulatory standards, quality measures, and evidence-based practices.

Requirements
- Active registered nursing license (California) in good standing.
- ICU/critical care nursing experience preferred.
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts; reliable, schedule-flexible, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills.
