Responsibilities
- Deliver occupational therapy services to residents under supervision, supporting activities of daily living and functional mobility goals
- Assess patient needs, contribute to treatment planning, implement interventions, and document progress notes
- Administer therapy modalities (e.g., range of motion, strength, endurance, task-specific training) and adapt plans as needed
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (PT, nursing, case management) to coordinate care and optimize outcomes
- Educate residents and family members on home exercise programs, safety, and equipment use
- Ensure compliant documentation, regulatory adherence, and high standards of patient safety in a skilled nursing setting
Requirements
- Availability to start 03/23/2026 and commit to a 13-week travel assignment with 30 guaranteed hours per week
- Licensure and certification details as noted in Job Notes; California certification as a Occupational Therapy Assistant (to be verified during hiring)
- Ability to work effectively in a skilled nursing facility environment
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Willingness to travel and adapt to a rotating shift schedule
