Travel Licensed Practical Nurse LPN Job
LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) – Albuquerque, New Mexico. Start date: April 1, 2026. This is an 8-week travel temporary assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult residents per the patient care plan, including monitoring, assessments, and comfort measures.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with policy, and document administration accurately.
- Monitor vital signs, observe for changes in condition, and report promptly to the supervising RN or physician.
- Assist with activities of daily living, wound care, and routine procedures while ensuring resident safety and dignity.
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation in the electronic health record, including progress notes and care plans; communicate changes to the care team.
- Collaborate with Registered Nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to implement and adjust care plans; respond to emergencies and call lights as needed.
Requirements
- Active LPN license; current and in good standing.
- Ability to work 3x12-hour shifts.
- Effective communication and documentation skills; able to use standard electronic medical records.
- Eligibility to work in Albuquerque, NM and willingness to work in a SNF setting.
- Ability to comply with facility policies, infection control standards, and patient safety guidelines.
- Reliable transportation and ability to meet assignment start date and duration requirements.
