Responsibilities
- Implement and progress treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
- Lead therapeutic exercises and modalities, ROM work, gait training, and functional mobility activities
- Assist with transfers, balance training, and ADL-focused tasks as prescribed
- Document patient responses, progress, and any changes in status per facility policy
- Maintain patient safety, proper positioning, equipment use, and standard infection control practices
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in Montana
- Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist in a skilled nursing facility environment
- Experience as a PTA in geriatrics or SNF setting preferred
- Willingness to commit to a 13-week travel assignment starting May 18, 2026
