Travel Registered Nurse OR Job
Registered Nurse – Operating Room, travel assignment in Watertown, NY, starting 06/01/2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed 40 hours per week with rotating shifts (7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. and 11:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.). Weekly pay range: $2,619–$2,752. This role places you in a hospital setting focused on perioperative patient care as a traveling RN.

Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases.
- Maintain sterile technique, assist with instrumentation, and help position patients safely.
- Monitor intraoperative patient status, including vital signs, and respond to changes.
- Collaborate with the surgical team, anesthesia providers, and circulating nurses to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Document perioperative data, manage equipment and supplies, and uphold aseptic practices.
- May assume duties as a charge nurse when assigned and participate in unit leadership activities.
Requirements
- Current New York State RN license (active)
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- 2+ years operating room nursing experience required
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- If not recently OR-experienced, completion and successful passing of the peri-operative 101 Education Program is mandatory before employment
- On-call with a 30-minute response time
- Lethal dysrhythmia interpretation skills
