Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse – Emergency Room in a short-term acute care setting, San Luis Obispo, California. This travel assignment starts 08/17/2026 for 8 weeks, with 36 guaranteed hours per week and a 3x12-hour day shift (7:00 AM–7:00 PM). Weekly pay ranges from $1,708 to $1,876.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the emergency department, including triage, rapid assessment, stabilization, and ongoing monitoring.
- Administer medications, establish IV access, and provide therapies per physician orders; document care accurately in the EPIC EMR.
- Monitor patient status, recognize clinical changes, and respond to emergencies; participate in resuscitation as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied staff to coordinate care and patient disposition.
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, and adherence to clinical protocols; perform timely handoffs and accurate charting.
Requirements
- Current RN license in California (or state of assignment) in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of recent ER nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- EPIC EMR experience (must have current Epic experience)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced emergency department on a travel assignment
