Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg Job
Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) travel assignment in Hermiston, Oregon. Start date 05/11/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,145–$2,251 per week with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Shift is 3x12 Nights. Work setting is a Critical Access Hospital and this is a Travel - Temporary Assignment managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to adult patients before and after surgical procedures, including assessment, monitoring, and administration of medications.
- Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, respond to changes in condition, and communicate findings to the interdisciplinary team to support optimal outcomes.
- Initiate and document the computerized Plan of Care on admission; perform general nursing duties across departments under appropriate supervision.
- Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure safe, effective patient transitions.
- Float to other departments as needed if qualified, while maintaining patient safety, confidentiality, and compassionate care.
- Adhere to hospital policies, participate in required education for applicable programs, and uphold mission and values in daily practice.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the State of Oregon
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Certifications/Experience: CMSRN preferred; previous Medical-Surgical nursing experience preferred
- Additional: Ability to work in a travel/temporary assignment and, if applicable, CRASE training may be required if the assignment extends beyond six months
