Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments under supervision; document administration and any adverse reactions.
- Monitor vital signs, assess patient status, and promptly report significant changes to the supervising RN or physician.
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living and perform basic nursing procedures within LTC protocols.
- Document nursing care, interventions, and resident responses in the electronic medical record and MAR as required.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to update care plans and ensure coordinated, person-centered care.
- Respond to call lights promptly, assist with safe transfers and mobility, and uphold safety and infection control standards.
Requirements
- Active North Carolina LPN license.
- Minimum 12 months of recent LPN experience.
- Ability to work in a long-term care setting; orientation will occur on the first shift.
- Availability for 8-hour evening shifts and every other weekend.
- Credentials due by 10/10/26 or ASAP.
