Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for adult and geriatric ICU patients with medical and/or surgical issues
- Manage ventilator support, vasoactive medication titration, and sedation as needed
- Monitor hemodynamics, interpret cardiac rhythms, recognize and treat dysrhythmias, and provide post STEMI care
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement and adjust individualized care plans
- Administer medications and IV therapies, document patient status, and uphold safety and infection control standards
- Respond quickly to clinical changes and emergencies, prioritizing quality patient outcomes
Requirements
- Current Massachusetts RN license; license must be active at time of submission
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience; demonstrated competency in core critical care skills
- Continuing education evidence; CCRN preferred
- Pass/fail testing for Tele/ECG and medications prior to acceptance
- RTO requests must be presented at submission; no holiday RTO; no more than 3 days
