Registered Nurse – Emergency Room, Hoxie, Kansas. Start date 10/26/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay $2,061–$2,180 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour Nights. Travel assignment in a Critical Access Hospital.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in ER and Med/Surg units, including triage, assessment, monitoring, and ongoing documentation.
- Administer medications, start and maintain IV therapy, and manage patient safety and pain control.
- Respond to acute changes in patient condition, perform rapid assessments, and collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team.
- Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and patient and family education.
- Document care accurately in the electronic health record and ensure compliance with unit protocols and safety standards.
- Adapt to fluctuating patient needs across ER and Med/Surg environments while maintaining high-quality, patient-centered care.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Kansas
- Current ACLS and TNCC certifications required
- ER and Med/Surg experience; able to work across both units
- Certifications: ACLS, TNCC mandatory; PALS or ENPC preferred but not required
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and adapt to a dynamic clinical setting
- Any color scrubs allowed
