Travel Registered Nurse OR Job
Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Travel) in a hospital setting located in Sidney, Montana. Start date 06/01/2026 for a 13-week assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Weekly pay ranges from $2,258 to $2,411. Shift is 6:30am–3:00pm, Monday through Friday, with on-call rotating duties. This travel opportunity covers perioperative care in pre-op, the operating room, and PACU for pediatric and adult patients.

Responsibilities
- Provide circulating and perioperative nursing care in the OR, ensuring patient safety and clear communication with the surgical team
- Perform on-call PACU coverage, supporting pediatric and adult patients after anesthesia
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate perioperative care across pre-op, intraoperative, and PACU phases
- Support direct patient care in the operating room and after-hours PACU, including documentation and equipment management
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative staff to maintain sterile technique and efficient patient flow
- Respond to intraoperative and PACU events, prioritize interventions, and advocate for patient needs
Requirements
- Active RN license in Montana or a compact license state
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience; experience in the operating room or perioperative setting preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical services environment; willingness to participate in on-call rotations
- Must meet necessary qualifications for a travel assignment and be able to work the listed shift
