Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations (radiology technologist duties) in accordance with patient needs and physician orders
- Position patients, select appropriate exposure factors, operate x-ray equipment, and review images for technical quality and safety
- Apply radiation safety practices for patients and staff; maintain equipment and room readiness between exams
- Collaborate with a team of technologists (approximately 4 techs across 3 rooms) to manage a busy workflow; participate in the care of orthopedic imaging studies
- Document and transfer images to the PACS for interpretation; communicate results to the supervising radiologist or clinical team
- Float as needed to two different buildings to support x-ray operations and maintain throughput
- Adhere to credentialing and regulatory requirements (BLS, ARRT standards; KSBHA licensure in hand prior to start)

Requirements
- Active license: Kansas Board of Healing Arts (KSBHA) in hand upon submittal
- Certification: ARRT (LRT) and Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Experience: Minimum 1 year radiology experience; Level I experience; travel experience preferred; orthopedic imaging experience
- Systems: Experience with AGFA and Siemens imaging systems
- Education: Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program (as applicable)
- Onboarding: Credentialing expectations include CBC, DS, and lab work completed within 72 hours of offer acceptance
- Eligibility to work in the listed location and to perform radiologic procedures in a hospital setting
- Ability to work a 5x8 schedule and adapt to a fast-paced environment with multiple rooms and concurrent exams
