Responsibilities
- Perform Cardiac and Vascular radiographic examinations and assist with interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab
- Operate imaging equipment to produce digital images as ordered by physicians
- Position and instruct patients for examinations; support specialized imaging studies
- Provide clinical care with a high level of technical skill, organization, and critical thinking
- Mentor and train staff on technical skills; contribute input on staffing decisions when applicable
- Support physicians during complex interventional procedures and ensure patient safety throughout
Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in the state of practice (required); ARRT certification preferred
- Fluoroscopy (FLUORO) certification required
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- PVMB or TEAM/TEAM-A or CPI certification required
- Experience: at least two years of recent field experience; experience as a Special Procedures Technologist preferred
- Education: Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or equivalent preferred
- Additional: Must be able to work in a home healthcare - hospice setting and participate in a travel assignment as needed
