Responsibilities
- Provide required nursing care to residents per the established plan of care under the supervision of an RN
- Administer medications and routine treatments within LPN scope of practice
- Monitor vital signs, assess changes in residents’ conditions, and report promptly to the supervising nurse
- Document assessments, interventions, and responses in resident charts in a timely and accurate manner
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility, promoting comfort and safety
- Maintain infection prevention and safety standards, including proper documentation of care and changes in condition
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license (basic requirements aligned with LPN scope)
- Experience in or exposure to long-term care or geriatric settings preferred
- Ability to work a night schedule: 6:30 PM–6:00 AM
- Local candidates only
- Strong communication and written documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced LTC environment and collaborate with the care team
